View Full Version : how bad would it be ///M3 CRAZY 11-10-2005, 05:06 PM if i ran a stage 2 s/c with software that was not written for schrick cams? the software is written for the stage 2 but not with the cams. FastrTHNu 11-10-2005, 05:11 PM prob. not so good... those schricks have, i think, around ~1.2-1.5mm more lift. More air = a bit more lean up top in the RPM range? i would e-mail one of the many tuners on this site and get there input. It might run, but not as well as it could. m3jasper 11-10-2005, 05:21 PM Why not get it tuned? Better to play it on the safe side and not risk anything. Although I do think that they make software for it. Ask JimM3, i think thats his name, from KO I'm sure that he has the software and even sells the cams. Just my 2cents. -Dave ///M3 CRAZY 11-10-2005, 05:23 PM i obviously wouldn't drive hard that way. but basicly would it be good enough to "pu$$y foot" it to get tuned. FastrTHNu 11-10-2005, 05:34 PM your OBD-I... just have a chip burnt and sent to you when you install the cams. There are people out there already running this set-up. just PM them and ask the 'who, what, where' about the software... the hardware should be easy. |
