I am interested in this one:

Ultra Window mount thingy (http://www.chasecam.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=16189&cat=248&page=2)

The guy selling them seemed to be confident in them over 200 mph for multiple hours at a time. I am looking for it to last during track school sessions.

Anyone use it or one like it before?

i dont know if schools are gonna be cool with that check with them first. one thing for sure its gotta be straped in nice and good. I've seen what happens when you dont strap a cam on a roll bar in during a crash and that for sure would come lose

They are very safe for autox inside and outside the car. For hpde is ok (I've used it and some people I know) inside the car.
Unfortunately, it picks up every single vibration, so the tape lacks quality.
If you have a roll bar and want a good mount, get the Iport. That's what I got now.
You can make one in your garage for your headreast. Some clamps and metal pieces from Lowe's and that's it.

The Best thing to do is actually get one of the Bullet Cams to plug into your standard Camcorder.

I've not used that mount in Particular, but I have used pretty much every other mount he offers with the Bullet cams and had no issues. Some other folks even took one and has some footage with it from the RING!

It's even stayed on during some RallyXing

Also, most clubs out here in Cali are cool with it now, at least with the Bullet Cam attached, all the local CCA Chapters have seen it and are cool with it as was NASA for HPDE. I would not use it for an actual race, just because an Incident is more likely to occur.

is the bullet cam the camera you have on your hood in your sig 325racer? does that get a lot of vibration?

I have that mount but with out the extention. And well we used it at the last drift day on 2 cars. One was a 240 (S13) on the sunroof, and on a 240 (S14) on the roof and then on the front left fender. And well we never lost the camera or the mount. And the parking lot we where drifting in wasn't very smooth. It had alot of bumps and such in it. And still the camera mount held very well.
