:help well i was driving along today and out of the blue the M just shut off. the crazy thing is i could not put my windows up after this happend, i had to crank while i was puting up the window. ne ideas?

Did you check the battery connections and the grounds?

Possibly the battery is shorting out. Maybe something slid over in your trunk that was metal and is touching the + to the - side of the battery. First thing i would check for. Even if the battery was just dead you would still have enough power to put up your windows.

Could always be bad alternator which = drained battery

i found the problem. it was a loose ignition relay.
