11-19-05 Dragon Run
Here are details for the Dragon drive, hope every one can make it out:redspot

Meeting 9:30 At the Gravel Parking lot on the North end of the Dragon

The Gravel lot is To the Right of the Chilhowee Lake name. If heading South on 129 you'll see it up on your left, you'll be driving along side the river for a while and go up over a bridge and the parking lot is on the Left.

If anyone wants to caravan up From Chattanooga, we are going to meet at the Shell station off exit 33(north of cleveland). If going 75 north, get off exit 33 turn left and the shell station is on the left once you cross over the interstate. We'll meet at the station at 8 a.m. and leave no latter then 8:15-8:20 a.m.

We'll run the Dragon 2 times each way, then even more if everybody wants to. And maybe catch lunch somewhere in Marryville or Sweetwater aftewards.

75N to Sweetwatter then 68 east to 411 North, then 72 East to 129. You'll then go threw the dragon and come across the gas station once you enter in to NC.
The drive is ruffly 1-1.5 hours from Chattanooga

From Atlanta

575 N, Rt 5, rt 76, 60 N, Spur 60 into NC, 64 towards Murphy, 129/19, then cut off on 129 In Robbinsville. Then you'll come up onto the dragon. It's probally 3 hour drive from Atlanta

I will be up in the area Saturday, but will be attending the UT/Vandy game.

The game isn't till 12:30 that's enough time to come run the Dragon once before hand:nono Chris is doing the same thing and leaving early to get to the game.

Oh wow that looks amazing...I need to get out to the mountains some time.

man, if only the the bama game was not that day, I would be all over it. I think I might go up during that next week if anyone would want to make a run then. I was thinking monday or tuesday, with it being thanksgiving, should be less trucks out.

Yep, how did you guese, I don't have any right now but have been wanting to get back into the hobby.

Also please list where you plan on meeting the group, either being exit 33 in cleveland, At the dragon, or possibly in K-town(not sure if Michael will have a group meeting there or not)

Two of my friends in Ohio have RS4Pros. They stopped running them after they bought a pair of T-Maxxes. I've got a Losi XXX-T Graphite plus that I'm trying to sell, a MRC MT10M, and I'm hoping to get a Clod Buster sometime soon.

No I wont be attending this run. Im waiting to get all my stuff installec before I take my car to the dragon. Coilovers are on the way and I just put my new wheels and tires on about an hour ago:)

While I'm sitting here waiting on my H&R spacers I got kinda bored so I repainted the DS2s gunmetal grey and spot puttied the curb rash. I'll get pics of them when it's not rainy out.

Ill post some pics up probally at the end of the week. I cleaned her all up last night thinking she wouldnt be out in the bad weather...BUT I had to pull out my garage for maybe 10 minutes and while she was outside it started to downpour:(...So I ended up driving her today and its filty again.

:eek: WOWZERS! Come on over buddy, we can have a car wash party. I take forever though. It usualy takes me about 4 to 5 hours to do it all...:( But I do wash everything.

Guess I'm going to have to take myself out. I ordered a set of H&R spacers from GPR Tuning, but unfortunately they won't get here till the 22nd :( . It sucks 'cause I really wanted to come on this run, but I'm not going to try to do it on my current wheel/tire set up.

That sucks, don't worry there will be plenty more Dragon drives
