For my 265 what fluid would you use? i have been told redline mtl, mobil 1 atf. any suggestions?

Go with redline. It smoothed things out a bit for me and Ive been happy with it. Bimmerhaus carries it if you cant find any.

so you have no problems with grinding or anythign else with the redline mtl? just want to make sure cause i am gonna have some power going through this so i want to have good fluid.

No. It smoothed out a 4th-5th shift grinding problem I was having actually.

Mobil One works fine for me on the street, plus its cheap and avaliable many places.

The tranny got a bit rough after long track sessions over the weekend, so I may try Royal Purple, which I've heard great things about.

Redline and Amsoil are also good bets.

A new Co. JGS oil products will be coming out soon and they are a little bit cheaper price wise, but their products are really good!
