Hey guys,

I've got a set of 4 Dunlop R-Comp. tires for sale. Size is 255/35-18.

They are in great shape. All have 6/32" tread depth (new is 7/32"). One has a bit more wear on the outer edge.

New price was $600-700. My asking price is $300+s/h.

Feel free to contact me at spencerbunting@hotmail.com

Please explain... :confused

Last I checked, R-compound tires are race equipment (hence the R).

what differentiates a race tire from a street tire? could you use these on the street?

These are fairly mild compared to hoosiers or V710's, so you could (and I know people who do) drive these on the street. Just dont expect over 10k miles out of them.

i would be happy getting 10000 miles out of a set of tires. i destroyed my potenzas in much less than that not doing any hard launches or anything like that. is r comp. the make or just type of tire? i did a quick google search and couldnt find anything conclusive. do you have a link to a site where i could read something about them:)

R-Compounds are DOT approved so theoretically, they are "street tires" in a sense.

The biggest difference is the softer compound, and more aggresive tread pattern. The bottom line is that they will wear quicker than a "normal" street tire.

I think I'll take them, PM me on total cost with shipping included. These tires are sweet by the way, super sticky compared to even the best street tires and I have at least 7k on mine and they still have 4/32 tread left.
