what are you E39'ers running for suspension. i really can't justify coilovers and all that nice stuff but i am looking to make my 540i6 look more agressive with some springs and maybe some koni's or bilsteins to go with them. i am also running the stock 17x8's with those super hot looking baloon tires :D but that's okay because they are pretty light and i am refinishing them anyway.
so what springs are you guys running and how low are they. thanks

I'm running Eibach Prokit springs and OEM shocks on my E34 540. They definitely are lower than stock, but could be lower. I'll attach a pic.

A lot of folks also like H&R springs and either Bilsteins or Konis. Personally, I think that H&R springs and Koni Sport shocks (set at most one turn from full soft) provides the best ride and handling. Front drop will be about 1.3" and rear will be about 1".
