have any e34 owners installed upgrade cpu performance chips. There's a number of options but want to know if anyone has specific feedback with the similar car. I have a '90 525. It's a Euro spec so not sure if the N. American tuned chips would be different for the N.Amer models?
if anyone has chipped their 525 i want to hear about it. Thanks!

I'm not sure if EAT (dsylvatech.ca, or something like that)chips will fit the Euro models, or maybe there is even a Euro chip. But just use the search function brotha...

I just installed an EAT chip in my '92 525 a few days ago, and I am quite impressed with the performance difference. Well worth the mod.
You may want to contact them directly regarding a tune for the Euro market.

I have been trying to chip my '95 540iA, and it ain't easy. Conforti doesn't make a chip for my ECU/software version combo, and I'm waiting for a response from EAT but it doesn't look good, judging from their website.
Does anyone here have this stupid ECU part number?: 0 261 200 404
AND this crappy software version part number?: 1744606
I have also talked to Jet Chips about their "ECM Recalibration Kit", where you send them your entire ECM box and I assume they put a stinkin' chip in the thing, or reflash the factory chip. Trying to get technical info out of their sales rep was like pulling teeth. :mad Has anyone done this "recalibration" thing from Jet Chips? He said the part number doesn't matter, but I don't think he knows his anus from his elbow.
