kinda like a feeler. I might want to sell my '95 M3 quickly. Think someone would give me $13k for it?
1995 M3 WBSBF9327SEH00219 Alpine White/Black Leather, 90k miles, CPO, 5-speed, sunroof, heated vaders, new bushings, battery, brakes, cooling system, UUC SSK, 17x8 IFG's w Falken 615's, OE 17's new Kumho's, chip, tasteful mods, nice extras. wired V1, 3m clear bra, detailed records. $14,000. 847 417 5611; allens@peinfo.com. (NW suburbs of Chicago, IL)
All Vin tags match. No crashes. There are only 2 spots with any paint work, the front of the hood (rock chips), and a repaired parking lot ding on the Dr side rear. There are two small dents on the hood, I was thinking about using paintless dent removal to fix them. I had 3M clear bra was added to protect from rock chips 5/04.
One of the Falkens was punctured a few Saturday's ago, so I’m willing to discuss how that affects the price. I put the OE wheels back on a couple weeks ago…
bonuses to this M3:
Great looking, straight, recently refinished by Wheels America IFG 17x8” wheels, only 17 pounds each, with Falken Azenis RT615’s 225/45/17’s
Brand new Kumho Ecsta 235/40/17 on the good condition Original wheels
New (6/05) front brembo rotors & lifetime Performance Friction brake pads (I'm including the dusty bmw pads too)
New rear Raybestos Quiet Stop rear pads (6/05)
Regular Mobil One oil changes (I even sent out an oil sample out to be tested last winter)
New Later Model 96-99 Strut mounts (7/04) Motor Werks BMW
New Polyurethane RTAB's (6/05), alignment & and once over by Al Valenzo (highly recommended in Chicago) @ Patrick BMW
New radiator (7/05), cracked 7/4/05, and was the ONLY prob I ever had with this car, I am more than happy with this car's dependability & reliability
BMW coolant & distilled h2o with the radiator (BMW's don't like silicants in their coolant)
Aluminum h2o pump housing replaced at same time (preventative, plastics can crack)
Hardwired Valentine 1, including the remote display installed in the gauge cluster.
Steering wheel stereo controls
Clarion CD player
Upgraded speakers (MB Quart)
Small powered subwoofer
Clifford alarm with keyless entry
Tinted windows 5/04
3M clear bra installed by Protech
New Catalytic Converters installed 11/03 by Knuaz BMW (Service II at that time also)
Convertible X brace & Strut tower brace
Ground Control Sway bar
UUC Short kit, with nice looking bmw knob (included wit a lighted 97+ knob too)
Alcantra //M Motorsport Shift boot
97+ cup holders
Clear front corners
Clear side markers
Turner Conforti E-Prom & stock
Maintenance has been preformed by:
Myself
The previous Owner, I forget his name, but have it in the records
Al Valenzo @ Patrick BMW in Schaumburg
Leo Franchi of Midwest Motorsport in Glenview
Knuaz BMW near north shore area (I forget the town's name)
Motor Werks BMW in Barrington
The car was CPO'd by Knauz BMW. Leo Franchi (well know in Chicago BMW circles) inspected the car in '99 and did some maintenance. I have records from Knauz doing maintenance. When I bought it I worked in the Internet Dept. of Motor Werks BMW. Bob Poduch, BMW Service Manager had it looked at, and before I left there, I had the Strut Mounts upgraded and aligned. The car comes with 3 boxes of records and spare parts. I'm personal friends with Chris Simon, BMW service Manager @ Patrick BMW. His lead tech Al is very highly recommended, that's who did the RTAB's, alignment, and look over. The car was pulling under braking. Everything checked out, and it turned out to be the dusty BMW brake pads. The PFC's don't dust or squeal, but take more pedal effort than the BMW pads (1/2 worn and included as spares). PFC also offers free replacements (don't laugh I've turned in worn pads to received new ones free).
Bullet proof reliability, and a great history. The car has never left me stranded. All maintenance was done PREVENTATIVELY. The only failure I had was the radiator, and that is a know prob for these cars. It's ready to go another 90k miles.
...So, yes my price is high, but look at what you're getting.
