It took me a while (over a week:()to find the few hours I needed to rap up the install on my RMS stage 1 for my 325is. I'm one of the few that went with a blower on an auto tranny:) Before I can give a whole lot of details on the car and its performance, I need your help to figure out a bug.

My tranny is acting very weird at part throttle. WOT does great. Even barks the tires. I'm not sure what I could have worked loose during the install that would cause the tranny to be so uncertain as to what gear it wants to be in at part throttle. Does the DME have any control over the tranny? I wonder if my new chip was for a manual car, maybe there's no difference between the two (auto and man chips) if the tranny computer is completely standalone????

there is no difference in the ecu for the motor

So I wonder what I could have done to cause the tranny to shift abnormally. Could a vacuum leak cause this? I'm not even sure if the autos use vacuum for modulation? ??
Any chance the computer just above the DMW is for the tranny? I unplugged it for a short while while I had the DME out. I figured that was for the anti locks...hmmm.
