View Full Version : FS Turbo Kit: AA stage 1.5 gen 2+ OBD1
fzust 11-03-2005, 05:08 PM UPDATE!!! Finally ready. I am selling my AA stage 1.5 Gen 2+ kit for OBD1. The kit is complete and works great, but it is time for a custom MONSTER TURBO Kit. There are many upgrades and improvements included from the base kit. Over 300RWHP(360CrankHP)!
Included is:
1. AA stage 1 turbo completely rebuilt w/ ported exhaust port.
2. Internal wastegate removed. External TiAL 40mm wastegate included. This eliminates boost creep problems originally in this kit.
3. MUCH Larger Intercooler! Sized approximately same as TT stage 2 IC.
4. Completely re-designed turbo to IC pipe. Upsized from 2 to 2.5" and routing follows TT stage 2.
5. Euro MA with NickG tuned IC. Great AFRs and day to day driveability.
6. AA Exhaust available for additional cost.
7. Larger Injectors
8. Full Installation manual.
9. Rest of the hoses, connectors, clamps etc
PRICE REDUCED! First offer over $4200 gets it. PM for additional questions.
ebydrc 11-03-2005, 11:42 PM how much for just exhuast? track pipe too?
fzust 11-04-2005, 01:57 AM $300 for the AA muffler. No track pipe because of custom exhaust for turbo
NickG 11-04-2005, 10:13 AM fzust is an honest seller folks. As far as I know, this kit is as complete as can be for a used setup.
fzust 02-20-2006, 11:54 AM Finally ready to sell. Lower price! See edited message above.
M tastic 02-20-2006, 03:37 PM bump for local phx guy
How many miles have you put on the kit? What will be needed that is not included to complete the install?

About 10k miles since the turbo re-build. This was a complete re-build w/ replacement of all the seals and bearings etc. This was also when the porting of the turbine was done. Everything is included that I can think of, including hoses & hose clamps etc. I used my Electronic Boost controller on my new setup, so if you want one, pick your favorite and buy it. Otherwise you can run off the wastegate spring. I need to pickup some hose of the water coolant lines for the turbo, but I will include that with the kit for the buyer. I will throw in a couple of extra hose clamps just in case. To be honest, I miss the immediacy of this kit. The bigger turbo I have is great, but it feels like a "turbo car". This kit spools very fast and since it uses stock compression, it is very responsive.
M-tastic! Thanks for the AZ bump!
I'm interested in the exhaust. Which generation AA exhaust is it? How many miles? Is that 300 shipped? Could you post pics of email them to me at jlac6485@yahoo.com. TIA!
danp412 02-21-2006, 10:02 PM What DME# do you have on your 95?
fzust 02-22-2006, 11:18 AM What DME# do you have on your 95?
I have no clue. Why is that important? It is OBD1, if that helps....
e36m3speed 02-22-2006, 02:39 PM hes asking for the # that appears on the outside of the ECU box. 413 dme is what most 95 guys have unless it was produced earier, which i believe is a 506 . Danp412: tell him which dme# you have and what your production date was.
here is a link explaining a software install by AA. Hopefully that helps. It shows how to find out which dme# you have scroll towards the bottom.

I will check. I have a late 95, so I am guessing that is a 413.....
danp412 02-22-2006, 06:51 PM Yea if you have a late build 95 then its probably a 413 like mine (7/95). From what ive noticed, anything that was made in 1995 is a 413 DME.
So are you not gonna sell this kit for less than $4200?
