Original BMW Motorsport oil filter housing purchased from Turner Motorsport (http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=11417740923) about a year. This is the part that's used on BMW's own E46 320i race cars in Europe and on TMS E46 325i race cars here in US. Housing has 2 dash-10AN fittings installed by the Motorsport team so all you need to install is a front-mounted radiator (Setrab or any other unit of your choice), and run Aeroquip lines directly to the housing to get TRUE oil cooling effect. Filter housing also has a built-in thermostat (so your're not cooling oil all the time, important for those in colder climates) that opens up after specific oil temperature has been reached.
Housing has been professionally modified to include an oil temperature plug for standard VDO oil temperature sender. This is much better and accurate way then getting your oil temperature reading from oil drain plug.
Housing is brand new, with the exception of modification that's been professionally done by a local machine shop. It has never been used. TMS price is $469.95 plus S/H and approximately 3-4 month wait as it's coming from Germany. My price is $350 plus S/H. No low-ball offers please.
