Well after 4 years with no dash lights (all idiot lights worked), I finally fixed the problem. I replaced fuses, bulbs, switches, cleaned contacts and checked all the grounds etc. and still nothing. But with the aid of a trusty Multimeter (which I thought I had lost) I tracked it down to a break in the wire from the rheostat on the switch to the instrument cluster. I bypassed the loom for just that wire and the lights are burning bright. I just had to let someone know. If you don’t have a multimeter (even a cheap one like mine) I’d recommend getting one. I’m now able to see my speed at night. :D Beaner7102.

Its funny how easy things seem to get put off longer than they should. Im guilty.
Congrats on the fix. It must be nice.
Since you've driven around in the dark for so long you might need sunglasses now.:laugh

How hard is it to reach the bulbs, and are the bulbs a typical size?
I've got one burnt out bulb thats been bugging me, and I might as well change it. It be cool to change the color of the bulbs too....dunno why. :shifty

You have to pull the Instrument Cluster to get to the globes (4 idiot lights and 4 (?) for illumination). They are 3W/12V 10mm Wedge style globes (local auto shop). They come in white, blu/white and amber. I would keep white in the idiot lights, but amber would be cool for the dash lights. Beaner7102
