Time to part ways with my car :(.

While it's not a pampered garage queen by any means, it's dead nuts reliable and nearly everything on the car has been rebuilt or replaced within the past 15k miles.

It comes from a M3 household where it shares space with three other M3s. It's leaving only to make room for a tow vehicle and trailer to haul the track car around in.

1988 Lachsilber M3 - 195,000 on chassis/15k on rebuilt motor

$10,600

Things That Rock:

- Motor rebuilt 15k miles ago (see maintence list below)
- New Clutch
- Kirk Rollbar
- Euro 'Smiley' Ellipsoid Headlights
- HID Retrofit using oem bulbs/ballasts
- Keyless entry

Things That Suck:

- Paint is a 6.5/10. Looks great from 10' away, however has a number of rock chips on the hood as well as some mystery stain, a door ding on the drivers door, and the rear spoiler will need a repaint.
- Crack in windshield
- Drivers side bolster has a seperation (not a tear however). Planned on replacing with a fixed back seat.
- Trunk bulkhead was cut to make a sub 'hole'. I didn't do it, nor is it visable from the trunk. All carpeting is in place.
- A/C needs to be recharged
- Needs new muffler. Removed it to pass tech at a recent track day as the Supersprint muffler had rotted through. Didn't replace this as I'm sure the seller will either want an OEM style exhaust, or a really loud VSR/Supersprint combo.

What's the track car?

I may be biased, but Lachssilber is the color for M3s.

What's the track car?

I picked up a sunroofless E36 M3 a few weeks back with Stoptechs, Sparcos, Group N suspesion, etc. Fun stuff.

Thanks guys (and thanks for posting that picture from the autox).

A number of people have written asking about interior pictures, so here are a few.

Also remember the side bolster isn't torn, it just has seperated since crappy thread was used. Should be able to be restitched very easily.

Also the center console isn't installed, but will be soon. I just never put it back in. The carpet is NOT cut for the rollbar, so it can be removed with no trace.

I've never seen an E30 M3 without an OBC until now. That ///M clock is cool!
