Looking for an OBD2 Supercharger setup complete. Prefer Vortech, but maybe others.

Thanks man. Yeah I saw the one in the FS section, I think I am buying it. Just waiting for his confirmation on it so I can send him the money.

I would be careful.
I bet he sent us all the same picture of the car w/ the hood open.

I asked him for more pictures, specifically w/ the parts out of the engine and he has yet to respond.

Not saying that he is a troll. But, I would be careful.

Yeah I am being careful about it. He said that he was uninstalling the stuff during this week. We will see. I got the same picture with the hood open.

No thanks, I found a setup for real cheap and building a nice setup.

just curious, what kind of set up are you going with and how much? I'm looking to go FI too and am on a minimal budget

Well I was going to run an old ERT Vortech system with AA Tuning, but I don't know what I am doing now since we kind of ran into some problems uninstalling some things today with it. I am trying to find a Vortech based SC kit.

I am still looking for one guys, so if you have one in good condition and the right price, please, let me know. Thanks.

I looked for quite some time as well and still haven't found a deal on a good used obd2 sc kit.

I stopped looking and just went ahead and bought some track wheels/tires. :)

I know, nothing is coming up. I still have the one that is for sale that is here local. I think I am just going to go with it for 1400 and have it rebuilt and get tuning from Karl at AA. He said he could tune it for me, and I have injectors sitting on my desk that will go with the setup. I think this Saturday I might uninstall it off my friends car and buy it, then send it to Vortech for a rebuild.

Honestly I would never buy used again. Jeff from Eurobahn and Jim from KO both sell Eurobahn setups which are basically something like $4200 for all the hardware, plus you can get a 7psi setup, 3.5" larger injectors, and a tune from AA good for about 300rwhp easily for about $5000 done. When buying used, you spend so much more in little pieces I wished I had done that.

Yeah, I have talked to Jim a couple times about his setups. If I get a little more money, I was thinking about it.

Being used, that seems to be the case with a lot, but not always. And when you work at BMW, it;s not hard to get/find parts :D.
