View Full Version : Bay Area E36 M3 peeps with exhaust?
BSLMR 10-17-2005, 03:00 PM I wanna see some of your guys exhaust setups. What kind are you all running and how was the fitment? Supersprint, Dinan, Eisenmann, AA, UUC, Remus. Anyone with "any" type of can chime in. I'm trying to decide, but need to see some in person first!!
Thanks!
Mechanic69 10-17-2005, 04:21 PM I have a Dinan setup and live in Foster City. Shoot me a PM if you want to see it in person
cockerkiller68 10-18-2005, 02:55 PM Remus in Fremont if ya wanna see.
JonathanL 10-18-2005, 03:20 PM The easiest way to see most of these in person in one shot would be to come out to the BMW CCA school at Sears Point in a couple of weeks. I have a UUC System*U in my car, and you're more than welcome to come out for a ride. I know of others with the UUC/Corsa RSC36, Rogue, Dinan and most others you can think of that will all be there too.
BSLMR 10-18-2005, 03:31 PM Thanks Interlocker. Where exactly is Sears Point? and do you have to be a CCA member? I'm interested. Let me know. Thanks!

Sears Point is actually called Infineon Raceway these days, but I don't like that. ;) It's in Sonoma, so it might be a bit of a drive, but very much worth it. Even just as a spectator, you can meet a lot of great people, check out tons of cars with mods you may be interested in AND get rides around one of the greatest tracks on the West coast.
You don't have to be a member to be there, but if you want to do the school you do have to be a member (which you can do when you sign up), and I believe the GGC (Golden Gate Chapter) requires a car control clinic before signing up. Info should be on the site, but even just coming out to see if it's something you're interested in would be a great way to spend a day or two.

FWIW, I'll be at the Sears Point school as well. I have a Rogue exhaust on the 325is that you're welcome to check out/listen to.
And get a ride if you are so inclined :)

Hey, look!! It's the Rogue-equipped car I was talking about! :wave

JIMBO!!! How's it going, dude! It's me, Marco Solorio from the good 'ol days! Wow, finally a BF.C member that I know from day's past! :D
So how the hell are ya? Hope all is well. I see your name sometimes in Roundel for track racing events. Looks like you've still been very active. Good on ya! BTW, I saw Peter Hsu and Navid Kahangi at Laguna Seca this last weekend which was great be with again.
I'm getting my way back into the fold. My '95 Daytona Violet is gone (R.I.P.) but I bought myself a bone-stock '98 M3 a couple months ago and I'm modding the H-E-L-L out of it in preparation for getting back into the track/auto-x game. It's alread way beyond the '95 ever was and that thing wasn't exactly stock! :)
So anyway, I joined BF.C this month and I'm pretty excited to get back into the fold. I really miss the track days. It'll be nice running again with the wolf pack.
Take it easy, dude.

Oh yeah, almost forgot my post my original comment to this thread!!!
To BSLMR: I have a B&B Triflo with an ECIS intake. The combo sounds reeeeeally nice. If you want to see mine and every other possible exhaust in person, just go to the Bavarian Motor Weekend on November 12th at Fremont BMW. It's stickied in the BF.C California forum. There's 120+ BMWs already signed up, but I'm sure there will be more.
GQ_Style 10-19-2005, 01:10 PM Supersprint DTM, redwood city.
BSLMR 10-19-2005, 04:35 PM Thanks everyone!!! You guys are awesome.
GQ style,
I was hoping someone around here had a Supersprint!! I've read some crazy things about fitment. Seems it fits well for some and really bad for others.
Did you have any problems with fitment?
Anyone else with exhaust in the Bay???
BSLMR 10-19-2005, 04:52 PM Ubermabig,
Nice car!
What part of the East Bay are you from? I work in the Pleasanton, Danville area.

Thanks! :)
I work in Walnut Creek. I was actually in Pleasanton today for a production shoot. I left there and went to Edge in Dublin to have them look at something on my car really quick. Edge is the hot zone! :evil2
So are you going on Nov. 12th? It'll be the prime spot to see everyone's different setups.
Mechanic69 10-20-2005, 08:48 PM Is the next dyno night at edge on the 12th?

I hope not... everyone (and their dog, grandma, cousin, neighbor, mistress, psychiatrist and parole officer) will be at Fremont BMW for the Bavarian Motor Weekend!!! :D
