First experiment with a Budget turbo for people thats not way undersized.

I have a couple manifolds to play with the first one i got as a sample is a T3 Flange with no external wastegate flange.

For size reasons and since its a budget kit i would like to go with a
T3/T04E Hybrid Turbo


Since thats the MOST GENERIC term on earth What should i choose for the Compressor Trim?
57 or 60?

would a .63 A/R Turbine Housing be good?

The cheaper ones are only .48 what power levels do you think i could expect to see with a .48 or .63 housing?.

I picked up a m50 motor with very low miles so gonna play with it

I would say that as small as a 50trim and .63 for a 2.5-2.8L. But if you were going to put it on a 3-3.2L I would step up to a 60 trim w/.80 or similar. The smaller will still work for the 3-3.2L, but for about the same amount of money you can get something better sized.

yeah pricing the Turbo the way i wanted would cost me almost as much as this turbo
