So does everyone want to shoot for this next wednesday (Oct 19th) at the krispy kreme place at cerritos mall? I would say meet sometime around 9:30pm-10pm? Thats what time I can get there.. probably closer to 10. We'll check this place out on that night and figure out if we want to keep that place and make it a weekly thing or if we want to move somewhere else. From 605 S, exit South Street and make a LEFT, and then make another LEFT onto Gridley.
The Krispy Kreme is on your LEFT side.
From 605 N, exit South Street and make a RIGHT, and then make a LEFT onto Gridley.
The Krispy Kreme should be on your LEFT side.
Be careful when you make a left onto Gridley because it's one of those "camera lights".

I dont know about the rest of everyone, but I plan on still being there. Weather.com says by the tomorrow, the rain should be closing up, and by wednesday should just be cloudy. And I figure, okay.. maybe I wont get to look at everyones cars this time around, but those doughnuts are just sounding too good to pass up now. haha so I'm still goin to get there round 10 (stupid class makes me get out later) and I'll go inside if its still raining. I havent done any serious canyon driving yet, and I would rather learn and try it out during the day, so I wont be doing any canyon run tonight, but sounds fun. I want to do it sometime in the future. haha. You can always bring it up tonight and just ask the people who are there if they want to take off and go for it. I think we need to come up with a different place to meet and then maybe try next wednesday? or we can wait and do it like an every other wednesday.. id be fine with any day really.. we just need to get a new location. obviously that didnt work out. hah.
oh and to the red m3, your car is badass... the 1 min that i saw it. hehe. its cool, you can show up to our next one and maybe get OUT of the car for a bit. lol.

well i dont live around here but i work thursday to monday and im in OC on wednesdays, so pretty much the only day i wouldnt be in is tuesday...lets actually have the meet somewhere where we can eat and stuff by our cars and like chill.....maybe a little shopping mall/center parking lot....

you know what I'm supprised about? that I had remembered to put those extra batteries in my car.. i didnt think I would need em, but I was like.. might as well have some. (i normally have one extra set so when im driving around i can snap pics of bimmers for the Spotting Thread), but recently I decided to just keep a couple packs.. good thing too. Or I wouldnt of had the batteries to give you for your camera.

Maybe we should try there next time? Idk... just trying to think of something. But I like the idea about eating and hanging out too. Sept I cant get there till 10ish so it has to be close to a place that is open later than 10pm. I think we should keep it on wednesday night though, I think it works best for everyone. Tuesdays is the UCI meet that many go to, and thursday is busy for a few people - I think wednesday is a good compromise.
I say, everyone post where you would like to have the next one. What kind of area. Food or not? things like that, and we can all try to track a good place down to fit what we want.

oh man you missed all kinds, this civic group came by and we jumped them and torched their cars, its was nuts...


nah im just playing, we just hung out, lined up in a horrid rainbow attempt to color match, took a few pics, got kicked out most people left, couple of us ended up stayin for another 30 mins till we got kicked out a second time. all in all, it was fun. me and tony couldnt take a decent looking pic if we tried, but Wump had the tripod so he has some good ones, and you can squint your eyes at tony's and mine and still see some of what was goin on. hah :D

there is a good place that hontech people use on monday nights and scion people use on friday night, its right by cerritos mall on pionneer and 183rd. its in a plaza that has a drink shop in there and a 99 ranch market. theres never any cops, the parking lot is huge and im always there hahaha

ya my crappy "easy share" camera just has a "night" setting, and it does keep the shutter open but w/o a tripod or something steady it's no use lol, even the ones i had come out not blurry were pretty dark

IDK, Im white, am I goin to get jumped over there? haha.. if its not too far from the cerritos mall I could probably do it. Its not too far from me. We can always do like we just did and plan it for a wednesday and just see what happens. If it works we'll keep doing it, if not we find a different place. Trial and error. Wing it.
