The Kansas City BMW Club was supposed to have a DE at Heartland Park (new Runoff host...Topeka, KS) at the end of October, but repaving will not be finished by the end of this season. We need our track fix before the long and cold winter, so we found a solution.

We have negotiated a great deal for Nov 11-13 with Hallett, just outside of Tulsa, OK. $225 for students, instructors and advanced can drive Friday for $100!!!!!! Average high temperature in Tulsa for November is 60, so hopefully weather won't be an issue.

More details will be posted soon, including a link to the registration form. This DE is a great deal, Hallett is a fun track, and we need your support!!! So, who's going???

Trust me, I don't think you'll find a 2-day DE like this (with good instructors) that will give you at least 120 minutes of track time for $225.

Do you autocross? Compare the cost:
DE-120 minutes of driving for $225=$1.88 per minute
Autox-4 minutes driving for $25=$6.25 per minute

We're working on a single-day rate, I'll post it ASAP.

This is a full two day Drivers Education event complete with Classroom Instuction and in car Instruction, not a lapping day.

The $225 you spend on this event will be far more valuable than several time that in Mods!

The guy who runs Hallett has a sweet 850. I was there last weekend for a vintage event. Great track!

This sounds awesome guys, only problem is that I'll be at TWS that weekend for the club race school. :mad :( Anyone interested should definitely take advantage of this event!!

At this point we have enough interest from people who want to do both days that we're not yet offering one day. We'll probably make that an option later, but we might fill the school with 2-day participants.
