Sorry, just have to rant. I had the keys to the e21 when I moved, as the car was driven over to the new pad almost 2 months ago. Since then I have misplaced them in the house (or garage) somewhere. This sucks. And I HAVE to find them before this weekend since I think I may be FINALLY getting around to trying the starter swap again (if not, working on the 318). This is another reason I HATE moving. But I'll eventuall find them, get the e21 running again, and should be able to give my roomy and Crazy Tim a good run at the next autoX in November. It had BETTER be done by then....otherwise I'm gonna be really pissed.....at myself at least.

If you can't find them the dealer should be able to get you a copy as long as the locks havn't been messed with over the years. the only problem is it takes like a week to get the key. You just need the VIN and your registration or title and your ID to get a key from the dealer. My new 320i has a lost key. the co worker I'm getting the car from lost the keys in his house somewhere, so the car will sit in his driveway untill I get a key and the parts car is out of my garage and at the recycler...

look under the couch cushions,wont hurt to check. worse thing thatl happen is youl realise you need to vacumm uner there and find some change.:lol j/k good luck hope you find em. you know as soon as you have a key done from the dealer theyl turn up. thats how italways works.
