I have a '95 M3 and the previous owner installed an aftermarket cupholder that is affixed to the passenger side center panel with double-stick tape (see picture below). I want to remove it but am affraid it will ruin the interior. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Take off as much of the tape as possible and follow up with Goo Gone.

Maybe try the same method used for debadging trunks? Hair dryer to warm the adhesive, credit card to scrape it off, goo-gone to clean it up.

heat it up, scrape it off with a razor blade
