GEntlemen,
What's the best way to get from 287S where it means the NY thruway to get down the GSP towards AC
I'm looking to avoid the GW bridge like last time I went and sat in traffic for 3 extra hours.

Easiest way is just take 287 all the way down to the parkway. Alternate way would be 287 s to 24 east merges into 78e to the parkway.
verizono to the parkway... skip 287 all together.
i mean the Tap... not verizono. the tap takes you to GSP in Montvale (i should know, my buddy is a cop up there) and you are offically in north jersey. why go any other way if you want to hit up gsp?

This is how i get to school from North Jersey..
Route 17N to 287 toward the Tap.. to 684N to 84E
So you can just go 84-684-287-rt17 and then get onto the GSP.
Its not nearly as long as you think.. It takes me like 2 hrs to get from my town (border of NJ & NY about 20 minutes from the Tap)
Then take rt17S to the GSP-S which is about 5 minutes.

that's about right... i go 84-684-tap-sawmill-287-202 to PA... depending on the condition of my nav (waiting to hear if i'll have a new PDA today), i was going to let it direct me from 684...
but if everyone says, take the tap down and go from there, i can do that...
so someone want to spell it out for me? I'm just not that familiar with the area...
