jrcook320 10-08-2005, 06:05 PM You'll need 15mm spacers to run these on an e21, but they'd probably look best with 20mm.

greggearhead 10-10-2005, 08:13 PM I call dibs on the manifold.
Posting the stuff here will just lead to higher and higher bidding - if someone is looking for it, they will find it. Otherwise it just drives prices up. Fine if you are sell, sucks if you/we are buying.
Yonkers320is 10-10-2005, 10:10 PM looks like my manifold. If you get it, you will have to modify it to mount a proper external wastegate. Or will you use an internal wastegate turbo"????
greggearhead 10-10-2005, 10:17 PM Depends - Ford T3 60 trims use internal WGs and should be good to 200ish crank hp.

Not really. Are you going to pay more than you want to for it? It gives people a heads up on things they might not have known were there.
greggearhead 10-11-2005, 12:43 AM I spend a lot of time on ebay. If there are 2 people that want (are aware of) an item, it will go up to the highest value of the lowest bidder.
If only one person sees it, it will go for the lowest possible price.
If I can get it for $150 great. If someone else that didn't know about will pay $1000, then I will not get it and might have before. That's just how auctions work.

One person? Ha! Never happens. There are tons of people looking at everything all the time. If someone is willing to pay $1000 and your only willing to pay $150 then it sounds like they need or want it more. Thats how auctions work. If you want it chances are everyone wants it and you would be wrong to think your the only one who knows about the auction. Even without a thread on Bimmerforum. End rant. Sorry, just my .02
greggearhead 10-11-2005, 12:25 PM No problem - it is just that I have bought stuff as the opening bidder because it wasn't listed well, etc. and the more people that know about it, the higher it goes. The number of people was just for an example, anyway.
No harm, no foul, and if someone wants to post it, it is their perrogative.
