If Im not mistaken I believe the MisterSLOW thought the guy with the miata was saying his car could do 95mph in the 1/8 miles as well but he said 1/4. Perhaps thinking the miata guy was coming off as being cocky when he really wasnt at all. That was my interpretation anyways... Nice race. You definately had a better launch. He only put a hood on me, and a Miata hood at that (whats that....like....14" ??) but he did beat me. Fast ass little whip that one was. Its big brother was even meaner....one of the co-owners of a local shop here in Charlotte has a black Miata with a built motor, good size turbo, jdm-spec 6 spd tranny....makes 370 whp ON A MUSTANG DYNO. Bad, nasty little car. I went for a ride in it a few years back, scary little go-kart. I know for all the tracks in Ca. if you run a 13.99 or better you have to wear a helmit and you are not allowed to have passengers.. What track are you at? He was reeling you in like a 115mph car when he shifted to 3rd gear ... he may have been spinning 1st and probably some of 2nd. Nice job on the launch though, you held him off very nicely.
