View Full Version : 325is vs 00+ Camaro vs old Ford muscle car vs ricer Escort
HeLLroT325iS 10-05-2005, 05:25 PM Sunday night I was heading to a buddy's house for a few brews when I noticed a newer black camaro agressively weaving through traffic behind me. The camaro comes up behind me and passes me. He had a dual exhaust on the back that looked aftermarket. It sounded like a six cylinder. I step on the gas a little bit and catch up. I pass him an he follows me up to about 90. We get lined up at a red light and I ask him if he wanted to go. He gives a nod. :devillook The light turns green and I launch at about 4k. I instantly pulled a half of a car on him as he sat there spinning. I shift into second with my rear bumper at his front. I continue to pull another 1/2 carlength by the top of second. By the time we hit 100, I had about a car and a half (bumper to bumper) on him. I look in my rearview and see this old ford car rolling down on me. I was totally oblivious of him until this point. It looked like it might have been an early sixties galaxy or something, but I'm not sure. I let off at about 110 as the camaro slowed and turned onto another street. I look to my side to see this riced out blue escort :confused doing a classic ricer fly by. Hey, where did he come from?:buttrock :nono I get to the next light and give the classic ford a thumbs up which he returned. A good race always puts me in a good mood
HeLLroT325iS 10-07-2005, 02:21 PM Apparently nobody cares about kills unless it involves an M3 or some ridiculously unbelievable story. I thought it was a good kill. The Camaro has more power than me. He had an exhaust, body kit and who knows what else. I'm guessing if he spent the money on the exhaust, he probably had a few other extras.
Roger Rabbit 10-07-2005, 05:01 PM Have patience and someone will get bored enought to post such as me. Just Kidding. I know what you mean.

Well, after reading this, I felt bad for you and wanted to post, "uhh, okay, good kill" but I decided upon that. How about

m3chaser 10-07-2005, 06:24 PM excellent kill bro. it is always fun to race against other 6cyls. and beatin them! ppl probably don't have anything to say cause it is legit. if you read most of the kill threads on here, most of them are full of arguments that never accomplish anything
great kill and keep it up.
fighter286 10-07-2005, 06:35 PM Thats pretty awesome. Do you have a chip in your car? before when i had my 525i i raced the same kind of camaro and wasn't close to beating it. Nice kill for the 325is's. GJ
Munich1 10-07-2005, 06:37 PM Sounds good to me any kill is a kill and to beat a camaro is good anyday. Keep it up
giterdone 10-07-2005, 08:12 PM jeeez, dont get so upset about not having a post. I've had posts that didn't get a reply until 3 months afterwards. Soemtimes you post at bad times, and people dont see them. I am one of hte more common posters, I log in, and read Bold blue text titles (meaning i haven't seen them yet). If they aren't bold blue, I dont bother with them.
V6 camaros are soft. I could beat v6 stangs with my old prelude, and depending on driver, sometimes the v6 camaros. They had the edge on me, but for the most part, it is women, or guys who want to be a cool guy with a camaro.

I know they aren't that fast, but they come with like 200 HP stock. They are way faster than the v6 mustangs that I have ridden in. I was actually suprised that it kept up with me that well. I know our cars are a lot lighter.

Yeah, I have the Jim Conforti chip in my car. I have ridden in a stock 325 and the chip seems to help you hold your power higher in the RPM's better.
