Hi
I have got 2004 316ci M packet ı want to lower my car only from front with eibach pro springs(Code is 2066.140).On the internet it says springs lower the car 25mm from front. Will ı have problem if ı fit these springs to the original shock absorvers on my car?
Has anyone fitted these springs to his car?

25mm ~1 inch. Say bye bye to the OEM shocks in a year. Get aftermarket shocks that can handle non-oem heights.

I have the pro-kit and I like them so far. I am still using the factory struts and shocks with no problems. Once I have the money saved I want to replace the shocks and struts and possibly go a little lower :D If you have the factory sport suspension (which I think all coupes do) the drop with the pro-kit is minimal.

How many km have you done after installing the springs?İf the struts go off they are very expensive

I bought my car with the Eibach pro kit springs. I would guess he had them on for almost a year before I bought it. I have had the car for a year and driven 20,000 miles and the shocks still feel ok.

Thanks for replies
I had peugeot 206 gtı and lowered 40mm after 10.000 km the shocks went off than ı bougt koni. Now ı am thinking BMW's shocks more long lasting than peugeot's and this time lowering will be 25 mm.Shocks will not be forced much

The prokit springs with stock shocks will be ok. Although you shocks may not last as long as on stock springs, they'll work fine. The prokit doesn't lower the car that much. Now if you were looking at the sportline springs, then I would get shocks at the same time.

BMW stock shocks start to get worn and squishy around 70,000 miles. If you are around those miles putting after market springs on will rapidly increase the decline of your shocks. It is best to just get shocks while you get springs. It will give you a better ride, and save you the hastle of having to rip out your suspension twice.
