Hey guys,

I just wanted to let yall know of a pretty good find. I was searching ebay for E30 headers when i came accross these. These look like high quality headers, I'm pretty impressed. and for the price thats a killer deal. Anyone try them? Just curious b/c a friend might be interested (not a seller or anything).

they look great but they are not made by supersprint, i would say they most likely are thin gauge metal and will crack soon, or let too much heat out slowing down gas velocity... either way i would get a set of the REAL deal and have the piece of mind. why skimp on such an expensive car...

well stainless is stainless, they seem light high quality pieces, but man that price is unreal compared to the "real" headers which are 3-5 times as much. anyawys just wanted to let u guys know.

usually if something seems to good to be true it is, especially with ebay car parts.

well stainless is stainless

You couldn't be more wrong on this one. Different amounts of carbon in iron do different things.

i dunno why most people are terrified of ebay stuff, ive been buying stuff off ebay for years and i've never had a problem. i hear alot of the E36 guys using the E36 style ebay headers with zero problems (many of them made by same manufacturer). so i don't see what the problem would be. I'd love to see some HP gains with those headers :) , i just wish someone would dyno test them :)

I have seen people bring in stuff like this to my friends performance shop and the metal is so thin in areas that the exhaust manifolds have just blown open and the welds are weak and just crack. I buy stuff off of ebay but something like this I wouldnt touch with a 10ft pole.
