well its that time of the year when i have to pay the bills on my cars. alexandria sent me 2 bills and window stickers, one for my m3 and one for my 4runner. normally i would just pay these and be done
except yesterday i got a nasty letter from arlington saying my m3 is being garaged in arlington and i need to pay them and get a county sticker. they also said because i ignored the first letter, i must appear at the courthouse to settle this, but on the back of the letter was the same registration page. so i think that's just a threat. yes, i forgot about the first letter b/c it seemed so gay because alexandria is literally across the street and i was travelling a lot at the time and it slipped my mind.
so as i understand it, i have to pay alexandria for the bills they sent me and then call arlington and pay them for a sticker and the portion of the tax year they believe my car entered the county? they say they need my registration and most recent paid tax bill, which would be LAST years as i haven't paid alexandria yet for 2005? and i have to call the DMV? what's really gay is they haven't "found" my 4runner on the street, only the m3. instead of just calling both localities, i figured i'd ask yall. what a pain in the ass all for the difference of a hundred yards.
