Hi all...

So Im driving last night, got hung up by a slow SUV (I think he was drunk...). I Punch the gas, and go around him. Next thing I know, My Service Engine Light is lit, and the car feels very rough, and like it's going to stall. Imagine when your clutch is in and your car is on the verge, that's what it felt like. Only problem is that mine is a steptronic. I was in a bad part of town, so I decided to limp tthe car as close to home as i dared. i was afraid of stopping at stoplights, so I decided to get on the Freeway (4am, i figured i could go slow...) I got on and gently accelerated up...and the problem went away. Service Engine Light turned off, everything returned to normal. I'm going to take the car in to have it checked out, but has anyone had this occur to them? Any speculation as to what it was?

I recall reading about this somewhere - probably on www.roadfly.com but I haven't heard of it since. I beleive they need to reprogram your CPU (seems like it's their default fix for everything).
