I've never painted anything before but need to soon paint my E34, whats the best how to out there for a noob? :)

If your a major noob and never painted before, I suggest you take it to a paint shop. If its a small touch-up job, just make sure everything is taped off with plastic that you don't want to get paint on. Make sure the car is in an open area as well.

I'd rather have a go at doing it myself, its a cheap car and I can afford to screw it up and spend the time to get it right.

The car itself is totally straight it just needs either a color change, or a new coat :)
