Three weeks ago, I was on the highway when all of a sudden I lost the power to my back wheels. The motor was OK, I just couldn't go forward in DRIVE. I shifted to 2, 1, but could not go forward. But I COULD go in Reverse.
I had to get towed home.
Any ideas of what the problem could be?

Sound like you have the same problem as I. THere is a 7 or 8 prong plug to the left of the transmission. Driver side. It is held by a ring lock. Make sure this is still connected to the transmission. DO you have a shift selector. Sport/normal/manual . see if works also If you have a selector. See if you can manually shift it by selecting the 1-2-3 mode. If it works then you DONT have a Hydraulic transmission problem (Probably) it could be the plug is bad, shift selector has bad contacts. You Transmission computer model. I have heard that people also have steroes installed and they accidentally know a connector loose on the TCM which is by the glove box.
