Tonight i raced my friend in his Saab 9-3 Hatchback...... relatively quick car, runs about a 15.4 - 15.5. I have a E90 330i Step, and we raced from a roll and a dig. From a dig i beat by about 3-4 car lengths, and from a 40 MPH i beat him by about 4-5 cars. I was pretty surprised that he even kept that close.... n e ways it was a good race and a good end to a great night.

9-3's have a strong pulling second and third gear. The turbo feels very strong.

They're not sports cars, but they've got some juice for a sedan.

test drove the e90 330/6 ZSP at Ofest, it felt just as good if not better than my zhp to be honest. I don't know if I felt the slight power increase but it handles like it's on rails. I loved it all around.

Had an 05 330i ZHP before my E90 before some idiot rear ended me and bent the frame..... insurance company wouldnt guarantee car would be safe so i bought the E90. My ZHP had intake, throttle body, exhaust a stage 3 engine software from Dinan...... really quick with those mods but i still like the E90 better. Dont get me wrong i luv ZHPs but the E90 in my opinion are superior cars.

I agree, however I didn't care for the interior at all.

I raced my roommate's 9-3 last night, he's got Intake and Exhaust work.

I was in my stock Jeep with about 525 lbs of passengers, a toolbox, school books, and two subs in a box.

First run- About an 1/8th mile.

I got the launch and pulled about 1.5 carlengths, he started pulling when I hit second, caught me at about 63, to finish an approximate eight with my bumper at his door.

Second run- Short of an eight.

I got the launch and only pulled 3/4 of a car, he caught me quickly and passed me at 40.

I could've launched harder, and so could he, but we baby teh rides.

run what hard? new vehicles?

I know what your saying. They say to drive it hard from the beginning, and the car maps itself to that driving style. But you don't drive it hard from 0 miles on the odometer. You get through the break in period, then run it hard. Also most cars have active computers, that adapt over a short period of time. So like if you drive your grandmothers sports car, it will seem sluggish, until you've had it for a couple of days, then it has changed itself pretty much.
