Anyone know of a good shop that has done a self-leveling suspension removal on an E34 before. Cost and experience are important...
I plan on buying the kit from bavauto web site, includes everthing except the shocks which I will buy as well... when it all arrives I need someone to put it all together.

If you want to save a little money I THINK you might be better of buying BMW sport springs (or regular ones) and using Boge or Bilstein shocks. There really isn't much to it. Bav Auto can still provide the proper bolts to stick into the hydraulic system which is probably just a few dollars.
I've done one so know it isn't very hard. Knightwerkes can also do it for very little money.

And why didn't you want to do this to my 750il?

Because the OEM shocks we got for your car were super cheap!!!
Even though it was a fricken pain in the ass to remove your rear seat!!!
What was I thinking??? :rolleyes

Cool, but what shop should I use? Any ideas? BEM said they have done it before as well as barvarian motor experts (but BMV said they have only done it on a 635).
Also sorry I double threaded today

Tim (Knightwerkes) is right near Queen and Ward, sorry, can't remember his exact address but he is in the book.
As we've discussed before, Tim is a straight up guy that is VERY reasonable but a tad bit dirty! :rolleyes
You can't expect a wash or a anything else there but you'll save $$$'s over anyone else in town but Tim specializes on BMW's and Porsche's so he knows what he's doing.
Good luck.

Yes! I second your recommendation. I just dropped off the Mrs' car there this morning to fix a slow oil drip. His rates are very reasonable. Very straight up and honest. He'll verbally breakdown the parts and labor estimate for you, give you different options, and tell you what should be done and what doesn't need to be done (right away). He enjoys talking car-talk so if you let him, you could actually monopolize a good part of his morning doing so...:D

Sounds like I have a solid recomendation for the work I need to do, now to wait for the parts to come in.....
