Will 235.50.17's work all the way around? Any rubbing and fitment issues.
Reason I ask, wheels I want to get (WILL FIT MY BUDGET are some Replica M-Kontours from BavAuto $660 shipped) I want to get some aggresive tire size that i'll still be able to rotate. Opinion on tire size, fitment, on bavAuto wheels, etc. Any thought welcome. Offer for wheels also welcome

Thanks,

235/45/17 would be the better tire size.

235/45/17's are kinda' small, I think. I have them on stock t-stars and they definitely don't fill the well. How would 265/40's(rear) and 245/45's (front) fit the stock wheels? How wide are the stock wheels?

265 would be a bit of a stretch for an 8 inch wide rim (assuming you don't have staggered t-stars). I run 235/45/17 front 255/40/17 rear. Some people run 245's all around.

you run 8" wide rims all the way around, and you have 55s in the rear? Cool, I need tires and I may try that, I have 235s all the way 'round right now.....

I'm running 235/50's right now on my E39. They are a little tall, but they ride nice and smooth.

Like my previous post, I'm looking for the same thing on my E34. Something nice and smooth. Don't know if it'll look right though??? Also I think they wont rub, but still i'd like to double confirm that with you guys.

Peace,

235/45/17 would be the better tire size. this is the correct size. however, i think 245/45/17 all around is a better choice.

I'm confused, in the guys info it says he has an E46, but everyone assumed he has an E34... Am I missing something?

Am I missing something? hahaha, just noticed that. i assumed he had a 5 series since he posted here. if it's an e46, 235/40/17 or 245/40/17 will work fine. and this thread should be moved if that's the case.

Sorry Guys...didn't mean to confuse!!! I have an e46, and two e34s. One of them is a 525i which is my current project car. I will update my profile immediately.

BTW, Other one is a 540i MSport. That's my baby!

Peace,
