I always like to go there! towards the end of October is nice.

I go there on a weekly basis!! we go cliff diving near by!! the roads there are unbelievable, last week i spent a whole gas tank just ripping throught there all day along with my friends bimmers!

oh man, you are gona have a blast there with your e30! probably outhandle any of ur e36 guys.... let me tell you, when you drive around there, the roads and the scenery make you feel like you in switzerland.... unbelievable!

+1 Me and a few guys from E46 fanatics went. Holy Hell. I fucking loved it. The road leading to the top lookout, you guys know what im talking about, was absolutely sick. If you'll have me i would love to jion with my stocktackular E36, hopefully after i get my RTAB's done. Suspension probably wont be done until March :( so i have to get used to the sloppy wet noodle handling attributes of the car.

So is Oct. 29th the official Bear Mountain Meet? - if so, I think you need to get the exact destination point of the meet, time, etc... Start posting it on different forums, yada...yada.. yada - you get my drift.;)

some advice, dont got fast roads are in shit shape, i live right outside of harrimen state park. Ive hosted a few meets in the past and will never do one again, people on our drive a few years ago were involved in accidents due to acting childish and some decided to pass on the wrong side almost killing a few bikers. also understand that the cops up there are ruthless and will bust you for anything if they see you flying around, try and keeo the numbers reasonable small. Have fun and watch for the potholes and deer, teirorty (sp) road and rt 106 are awsome roads but like i said watch for shitty roads here and there

if you guys care to switch, Mountain Creek is just as fun as Bear Mountain, and the roads are immaculate....+ its a lot closer to most people that are participating in this thread.

mountain creek is on 94 which is off of 23 about 20min from 23, you can also get there from the north if you live in orange or rockland county ny, even westchester.

The only thing nesessary i think it would be to have a GPS unit in one of the cars because it is easy to get lost... im going to talk to this guy from nasioc.com who arranges meets there all the time, we used to go with the subaru club all the time... well he might wanna lead the way, hes been arranging meets for the past 7 years, he knows the area like the back of his hand!

Noooooooo. What happened to Bear Mt. :bluecry1 :( Im gunna back out. I just moved from Sussex Cty and i haven't gone back up there since. I wish you guys luck. One of the reasons we (family) moved was because of cops. I lived somewhat close to Mt.Creek. The roads are ok, but the cops more than ruin it. Take Pics though!! Damn Boomer, i wanted to see your car too.

The cops man. There HORRIBLE up there. All of em. Anyway, i dunno what vodomagoo is talking about. We just had a Bear Mt Run semi recently and the roads were fine. Everything looked freshly paved when we went up there. I was riding shotgun with my friend Matt, which i think youve met before? Redish E46. 18" HP Evos. M-Tech Front. He was at the Edison meet. I couldn't make that one. Anyway, he had suspension, my friend in his Supra had coil-overs, + many others and these roads were in fine condition. These cars were gliding on the pavement. Bumpy road doesn't = glide.

whats the date again?:) I just gotta say though, we gotta watch how we drive. Vernon cops a prickish too, but not as bad as Hamburg and Ogdensburg (old town i used too live in) cops. Hamburg borders Vernon sorta, so its in the air, kinda.
