i live in nyc and am trying to decide if i should get eibachs or stay with stock springs. i'm not looking for performance / opinions but rather experiences with any issues with scraping the lip going on or off "normal" (something that's not blatantly steep) shopping malls', gas stations', drive thru's, etc. ramps.

i would like to get the eibachs but i don't want to have to worry about scraping my lip more than 75% of the time since it is my daily driver.

are you asking for the max? Am I in the wrong forum or something?

Eibach Sportlines will scrape but then again, I had those on my Honda with a body kit that only had a few inches of clearence up front.

its a sacrafice. you either want a lowered car or not. there's pro's and cons..i think you already know that though

I have the Eibach Pro-kits on my 97 M3 with Koni Shocks, no real problems with scraping so far (fingers crossed!!), the ride is a little stiffer but still tolerable.

i'm interested in the pro-kit springs more for the function than the looks. i don't mind it being stiffer/harsher (hell, i'd drive an elise as a daily driver if i could ge my hands on one). just don't want to have to worry about scraping the lip on a daily basis (since it's my daily driver)
