..., I'm in queens, but, I'm willing to travel out to long island or NJ if the shop is really good.

On the matter of tints, I've heard that some can lay the tint right up to the edge with out it peeling a month down the road?, any truth to that?, or must they leave a cm at the top?

I'm not looking for anything extravagant, just smoke or dark tint for my coupe.

The quality factor is important here, as I don't want to have to bring the car back to the shop to redo them (even if it's a lifetime warrantee).

no bubbles? i have these tiny tiny little bubbles around the edges that's driving my nuts. can't see it unless i point it out. the only good thing about the tint i got was they tinted it up to the edge of the top of the window. i hate how some tints have 3 mm gap on top. i only have about .5 to 1mm gap.

got mine done at international audio in bloomfield, nj. they use moon raker tint and have a lifetime warranty. the quality is pretty good, although it started to peel bc the window caught it on thhe bottom going down, got it fixed with no questions asked...it was great.

no bubble on mine...im sure if you ask him to go way up so that there's a little gap it wouldnt be an issue.

there is a new place in Brooklyn on 65th street between 7th ave and 8th Ave on your right.
It openned up last month. since then that place is doing crazy business and i think he charges 99 dollars for a full tint. check it out

tell me about it. i have all my windows tinted and the trooper that pulled me over didn't even bother me about it. i guess if it looks good they'll let you slide but if it's like a half ass-ed bubbl-licious job they'll cite you for public safety.

No, NY allows 70% infront, and anything you want for back. ANd they do enforce it if the cop is a total prick. I got pulled over on Grand central pkwy for tints.
