There hasn't been a Tpk meet in a while, has there? At least not one that's mentioned on the boards.

I'm in Tariffville. Most of the BMW owners do not go to the pike as there is usually to much nonsense from all of the ricers out there. If we pull together as a group and set up a meet I'm sure that some would show. Lets make it worth going guys. We should have 15-20 BMW's and than go on a cruse. Lets toss around some dates and times.

There is already a group that has been meeting at Loew's on Berlin Tpke. The last meet was 3 or 4 weeks ago.

Going to the pike is fun once in awhile, but the crowd is really silly, I agree, getting some meets going and doing some drives sounds great, I used to always have one in Bethel every fall, but lack of interest stopped it, I'll start putting it back together if we can get some dates thrown out there

I was thinking around 7. Im trying to get some yes's from the ppl over at s14 as they we supposed to do this last week after there luch but nobeody showed up at the pike. If more ppl can do the day rather than the night, its fine with me. I am just trying to get something together in a short amount of time.

Did anyone go to the car show this past weekend? I went and it wasn't bad. We were a half hour early so we cooked over to New Country to check out their inventory. They were open for the show. I ended up meeting the saleswoman who sold us my wife's XI so she let us park at the Mini dealership so we wouldn't have to pay the $5 for parking. When I was picking up my car a couple of days before I saw her taking an M3 convertible on test drive iwth a very young couple. She was pissed. They ended up taking HER for a ride. No way could they afford it, he just wanted to take the car out for a spoin. Classic. She had to move like 5 cars to get to the M for the test drive. They had a nice new M5 at the show. Wow, what a car. It was just beautiful to sit in. Unfortunately the Carrera 4S wasn't unlocked. Some other nice cars. Noticeably missing with the Infinity G35 coupe. The local dealer decided not to bring it to the show. Go figure.

i went, compared to other states car shows, it was kinda lame...but ok i guess for $8 and CT. highlights for me were of course the M5, z06, carrerea 4s (it was open when i went, actually, they key was in it and they couldn't figure how to get it out. so a VW saleswoman was sitting in the car keeping an eye on it...so i had to sit in the passenger seat.) mazda speed 6 was ok and the new supercharged range rover is freaking sick!! definatley want one. I for one wanted to see a trailblazer SS, heard good things about that beast.

I'd definitely want to get together with people from CT and not drive to long island where everyone else seems to get together (not that I wouldn't mind the drive... but it's rather long).
