My local auto store stocks both Autoglym, Meguiars & Turtlewax products. I`m looking for something that will remove the swirl marks & light scratches from my metallic black paintwork (E39 530i Sport) I clayed my car the other day & must have picked up a little grit or something & it`s lightly scratched the door :( the rest of the panels are ok apart from the swirls. I NEED a really deep shine! :D
Also whats the best method of removing small paint spots from the car?
Thanks

See if they have ScratchX. It's OK for localized repairs, easy to use by hand, just remember to work the product well. Run away from turtlewax. It's heavily marketed, low grade consumer crap.

If you have a pc I'd suggest Autoglym. I've heard many good things about them, and IIRC I think they're manufactured in Germany. On the other side of things, I don't really like Meguires all that much. Turtle wax... NO.
I will agree though, Scratch X is decent. For 7 bucks it does a pretty good job. However most of it it fillers.

I use AutoGlym and it works great in my opinion. The paint renovator and super resin polish together makes swirl marks go away.
