So, tried to clean the fabric ceiling of my hardtop today in preparation of sale. Tried Resolve carpet cleaner, got a nasty looking splotch on my ceiling, don't want to risk using anything else unless I know what I'm doing.

What can I use to clean the ceiling/get rid of that splotch?

IF it is the same material as on E36s, I used diluted Oxy Clean and it did wonders on my dirty ass Dove Grey headliner, pilliar covers, and rear deck :) I soaked the material with the mix, let it sit for 10 minutes or so and sucked all the water and dirt out with a Green Machine carpet cleaner, but any wet/dry shop vac should work fine. Worked great for me.

I'm gonna have to give it a shot!
