Was a good day down a the dealer. Went in for a 15k oil change. Just happened to mention a slight humming sound that varies with speed. Turns out I had a blown bearing in my front right wheel. They did the oil change and fixed my wheel while I dined on free donuts and starbucks. They finally finished and checked me out of the service department with a grand total of $0.00 :) Friendly and helpful as usual. The guy who sold me the car was in and we talked for a while about BMW stuff, which is fun. They also had a Ford GT40? in one of their showrooms. That is one impressive car. I love BMW of Austin

Oh, and there's always hot chicks there waiting on their cars to be serviced :redspot

What's so great about them doing warranty work? They're supposed to do that.

I just came out of a 98 civic where oil changes always cost me as well as lame breakages... Just a nice change of pace

why all the way to Austin? Why not go to Temple? They have a good service department, I would highly recommend them...

I've just never seen a better dealer/service dept than Austin BMW. The Forg GT they had down there was awsome :)

BMW of Austin has gotten much better within the last year (after the "transition" stage to new ownership). They used to blow goats.

And yes, there are ALWAYS hot milfs there getting their x5's serviced. It has never failed me.

Just curious, why not get a loaner. I never wait around for my car. I had my oil changed and the final stage unit replaced at BMW of Dallas yesterday. I asked if I could have a 330 to drive and he was like, "I'm real sorry but all we have is an 05, we don't have an 06 available." I was like I don't care what year it is. Well, he gave me a 330ci zhp, man I fell in love with that car.
I didn't want to give them the keys back at the end of the day. Too bad I have 3 kids and that car is not practical for me.

Also as usual I was pleased with BMW of Dallas's services. Of course if it wasn't under warranty I probably wouldn't feel the same way when they told me the price.
