The're a shop, but can order up parts in a flash!
I am in no way a part of marin mortor sports, nor do I get paid to plug them*
m3littleone 09-16-2005, 11:35 AM I use Rennwerks in Mt. View. They do a pretty good job judging from the two times I have been there.

shragon 09-16-2005, 12:33 PM since you're in the east bay, i'd take it to edge.
erikerikerik 09-16-2005, 12:34 PM yeah but the 'east bay,' keeps friggen growning and growing.... all depends on where in the 'east bay,' he is.
Captain 09-16-2005, 02:09 PM edge is in dublin. Try clicking the link someone posted for more info.
2000Z3M 09-16-2005, 03:08 PM bay bridge motors in oakland, www.baybridgemotors.com if you go there PM me and Ill tell you who to talk to,

PS I'm picking my car up from there today!! I got some goodwill work done w/ about 8000 dollars in repair.
wifeyse46 09-16-2005, 04:02 PM Edge, no doubt.
auto_pilot 09-16-2005, 05:31 PM Another vote for Edge.
Slowpoke 09-17-2005, 05:46 AM yup have to agree with the majority on going with Edge. I've tried Rennwerks and GMS on the south bay but prices Edge has them beat. Give them a call or drop by since they are so close to you. You won't regret it

I too would like to know a good place since Edge is pretty far away.
Palo Alto Bimmer isn't the greatest place in the world...
Slowpoke 09-18-2005, 01:10 AM For the people on the other side of the bay:
I've personally used Rennwerks in Mountain View with great success. Also seen recommendations for Streetwerke in Palo Alto but never been there myself.
dirtye30 09-20-2005, 10:18 PM Edge is a good place to go.
I also would recommend Competition Autoworks in San Ramon.
lovesm3s 09-20-2005, 11:46 PM edge :)
gotdinan? 09-20-2005, 11:50 PM :redspot :redspot EDGE MOTORWORKS! :redspot :redspot
graat 09-21-2005, 02:34 PM I'm also looking for a shop. Anyone have any experience with Bavarian Motorsports in Milpitas, or Bill Arnold BMW in San Rafael (opposite sides of the bay, I know). Specifically I am looking to have my valves, cams, and other goodies in the head inspected (don't ask :( )

If you can go to Bill Arnold...GO TO HIM...His reputation amongst BMW CCA members is excellent. Dunno how busy he is, but I only hear great things about him from the guy I know goes to him. My buddy has E34 M5, and Bill keeps it running great.
RedNosePit 09-21-2005, 03:01 PM you could give edge motorworks they have some pretty reasonable prices

Get's my vote!! They rock and I have never had any issues with their service.
