Ok we went to change the middle a/c vent in Mr. mcgo's 96' 328i and the production date on it is 1/96


when we went to take it out we noticed it's not the same as the one we bout to replace it... most I've seen for the 94-98 models have a cord w/ a plug for the climate control switch... well the one in his car has what it seems to me a rod for the switch and somewhat manual.....and NO ELETRIC PLUG ????? ANY THOUGHTS?

did yours have the manual rod or eletric plug??? and it's a 93 right?

electric plug, but the 95 M3 I just helped take apart had the rod.
did you look at realOEM to see what years take what?

yea I need to look at the BMWbible... but I bought one thinkng it would be correct.....well at least I didn't need to buy a new tool... most prodjects on this car i've had to buy a new tool....
