View Full Version : New Dyno/Tuning Shop in SFV, Ca
therealm3 09-13-2005, 11:43 PM Hey everyone.
I just wanted to let you all know that my cousin recently opened up a dyno/tuning shop in the Valley (northridge). He does 4 wheel and full race alignments, custom exhaust and headers, and very aggressive prices on dyno rental and tuning. He is willing to set up dyno with us, granted we get enough cars. I'm not trying to advertise, just trying to help out the local guys. I know dyno/tuning can get expensive and this shop, Hardcore Automotive, is very reasonable. For pricing and further information check out www.hardcoredyno.com

OCStyle 09-16-2005, 01:45 AM wow, this is like a godsend. I live right by there and cannot find anywhere to do a full race alignment on my car. Thanks for the post.
phillyB///M3 09-16-2005, 05:09 AM Nice!.. ask him how much he would charge us at group rate.
therealm3 09-16-2005, 11:15 AM Yea it is about time there is a good shop in the Valley, especially Northridge area. I will talk to my cousin today about setting up a group dyno day. He has one coming up with another forum, ill find out prices if we merge dyno days or have one of our own.
EDIT: We have an update... refer to this post for dyno day information

OCStyle 10-21-2005, 08:39 PM Ok so, i heard about this shop and thought it was a godsent. I just installed Ground Control coilovers and went there to do an alignment. The guy there (didnt catch his name) said that he couldnt do an alignment on my car because it was too low, and he "...just wouldn't feel comfortable doing an alignment on a bmw". Just letting everyone know.
So now my car goes to Tri-Point Engineering.

well at least he was being truthful. Which I do appreciate.

I took my car in for alignment today. $60 and my alignment is 100% perfect. These guys REALLY know what they are doing, and the guy who helped me really took the time to understand what settings I wanted, and explained the numbers to me as he was doing the alignment. I will post a pic of my alignment sheet later, it's beautiful.
I recomend ALL you guys who need an alignment done to go to these guys if you are in the area. They have a brand new hunter alignment rack, and the guys there know how to use it!
I'll be going in for a dyno-tune as soon as my clutch is broken in. The dyno setup is awesome, and they were tuning a turbo MR2 when I was there. They seem to really know what they are doing when it comes to the tuning as well, and I will find out for myself when I take my car in.
sgi4side 10-26-2005, 12:24 AM very nice I think I am going to schedule a dyno session with them
fast4d 10-26-2005, 12:44 PM I'm confused now. can they or can they not do alignments on bmw?

Read post #22. The guys there will set your alignment to whatever settings you want (agressive, not agressive, factory, etc).

Ditto. I asked them about that, and they have no problem doing an alignment on a car with full suspension mods. In fact, they said that they can even work with you on price if you have c/c plates cause it's so easy to adjust, and you basically just need the rack time. I may have heard that last detail wrong, but of course as a consumer that's what I heard. :stickoutt
