****CAR IS STILL FOR SALE****

*First off this post may seem a bit scrambled due to my lack of sleep heh*

PICS IN POST BELOW

96 SC300 Red Exterior / Tan Interior (W/ Woodtrim) 5spd Manual.
Great Paint! Only wear on leather is on drivers seat (minor). Car has 147k and still runs excellent! 15k Miles ago timing belt, water pump, plugs and fiberoptic wires were installed along with a new intake gasket and 2 new fuel injectors and windshield (By previous owner). I just installed new racing pads which don't emit any brake dust and 2 year warranty and also turned the rotors which are still very thick. Since I owned the car only thing has went wrong is the clutch which was original I replaced it with a stage 3 clutch and PP because I was planning to turbo it the clutch is very very streetable and pedal pressure is very little different from the OEM one just grabs a ton better :D . I am 3rd owner and car was and still is always garage kept and babied, paint still looks great and is very glossy very few minor flaws (normal little scratches you'd see on a 1996). It has the super rare 5 speed manual transmission, only 720 of these made with manual transmissions!

This car shares its chassis with the 93-98 (MK4) Toyota Supra meaning anything on the supra (other then the interior and cosmetic/body) will also fit on the sc300 and the parts between both of them are interchangable!! (IE: Suspension, Brakes/Calipers, Differentials etc etc.) The motor in this is the 2jz-ge which is the same motor as the 2jz-gte (turbo supra motor) except for a few things: Better flowing head, different intake runner design, higher compression ratio, no oil squirters. Once you drop the compression ratio with a thicker headgasket and slap on a turbokit, this motor will hold just as much boost as it's well reputable brother the 2jz-gte without no internal modifications! You can get the car making 400-600 WHP for under 6k with no problem (If you only wanted 400 WHP you could acomplish that with around even 3-4k) , visit http://www.nonturbo.com/turbokits.html and view some of their turbokits!

Heres some of the cool things about the car below:

Dvd Player/ 6.5 Inch Screen 2 10" subwoofers powered by 600w amp.

Tinted windows

Heated Seats

Power Telescopic Steering (Auto tilts up when key is removed from ignition)

One Touch Sunroof W/ tilt mode

Digital Climate Control

Dual Power 8 Way adjustable seats

Auto dimming sideviews and rearview mirror

Outside Temperature

2 Digital Odometers

Dual Airbags

Factory alarm with passive theft (starter disable)

"Driver has 2 memory buttons that memorizes the following things: mirrors positions, seat postion and telescopic steering position."

Rear Passenger Assist: When you let someone out of the back the seat powerly slides itself forward and when you push it back, powerly slides itself back into position. Very nifty and good feature that makes one of the big downsides of a coupe not as annoying and alot easier for everyone! Also the rear passengers have a lever on the back of the seat they can push with their foot to let themselves out instead of having to wait for the front passenger to pull the side lever to let them out, or reaching your hand all the way on the side of the seat to lift the lever. :buttrock

Good luck with the sale/trade. SC300's are great cars, and the 5speeds are rare and hold their value well. He is correct about their potential, the iron block 2JZ handles boost very nicely, just like it's more exotic brother, the Supra.

u cant possibly expect to get 11k out of this car with the mileage that it has. You must be smoking crack.

Even if it is in stick, and they are somewhat rare, it is still ridiculously high.

If u get an offer for high 8's to 9's then take it.

This is actually interesting as I am looking for an SC3 in stick, but i want to find one with less miles. If your price was right then id seriously consider it.

Oh yea and why only cash?:

Cash as I ment if someone didn't want to do a trade, and BTW 10k OR BEST OFFER And somewhat rare? One in 720 is extremely rare, and the rarity really isn't what makes the price what it is. The Dvd player and amp alone was around a thousand, and all the work I just did to the car and the previous owner did to the car is a decent amount.

720 were made only IN THAT year.

They started making them in stick in 92 through 97. Each year they made anywhere from 600-900 models in 5speed.

You make it sound as if there are only 720 sc3's ever made in stick.

I dont really need the amp nor the dvd player. And what is the work you just did? im asking because im seriously interested in buying it. I just want to know more about it.

720 all together made, 212 made in 1996.

Although $11K is a little high for a 95 with 147K miles, this one seems to be in pretty good condition. The recent maintenance (timing belt, water pump, clutch) should loosen up the wallet a little more. Besides, that optional cupholder should add at least $50 to the selling price :D .

Good luck with your sale. I have a SC3 5spd and a E36 325is. Guess which one I drive more.

LOL, this car is one of the most reliable car i've ever owned. Theres someone running 600k on their 92 sc300 and plenty people over 200k+ doing just fine, toyota almost always makes reliable cars and being lexus is just a toyota strived to it's best the lexus holds up even better. Only problems I can think of is climate control screen getting messed up, mine is perfect :D
