Now with all this bullshit construction, it takes me about 30-40 minutes in the morning and the same at night. But when it rains, I've seen 2 hours....... Fcuk that. i couldnt' ride my bike at all... i'd never make it home. i work downtown and live in los feliz (next to hollywood); i have to drive through dodger stadium and through the hills to get home. it would take a couple of hours by bike, probably walking it uphill half the time. and yes... my times are reflective of non-freeway driving. if i was taking the freeway... :rofl who knows how long that would take! scrat//e36 09-15-2005, 10:47 PM Oh my gosh mr m is the only one who know what real driving is. I live in monrovia and drive to northridge everyday. Just to get to the office and back is 86 miles. When i see clients i could go as far as oxnard sometimes ventura and then to palmdale/lancaster. I average over 700 miles a week and fill up sometimes 3 times a week. I laugh at the guys who say i dont drive my meemer in the rain it has never seen the rain. I have driven through snow ice salt and sand storms. I have been in 17 degrees weather with snow chains on my bmw. My bmw is not the ultimate park in your drive way machine. I have put over 80000 miles in two years. i currenty have over 157000 miles. By next year i will probably be hunting around for a new one.
