well i went to the tire place to get some new tires. and i had to replace the tire on this one wheel like twice because it was leaking air. then the tire guys show me all this crust and shit from using fix a flat and says this shit is like a cancer and they can grind it off but it will prolly come back in a couple months. is this true? if so does that mean the rims are toast?

tire slime is better, if you need to fix a flat in a pinch. it keeps working and is self balancing. just not good in really cold weather.

Sorry guys, fix-a-flat, tire slime etc..... ALL SUCK!!!

I see about 5 ppl a week come into my shop with that crap in their tires. I've only seen it work once. Also, your tire repair will cost more because they have to clean the crap out....if it hardens, you tire balance will be forever off.

well, I have used tire slime in different applications and it has never dried up and was good until it was time to change the tires from milage, thats it.

i hate when i bust the bead on a wheel full of that shit, it either sprays you in the face AND OR spills all over the place while dismounting. just dont use it so you can keep the tire technicians happy and they will do a better job on your car :)
