Just heard on the radio that they have some 1 year FREE rent house vouchers for people from New Orleans. They also mentioned that they are available to New Orleans refugee's AND section 8. They put them up in HUD repo house's from what they said on the radio. New Orleans refugee's ok but section 8 ? Just a heads up

Maybe this is the side of me that voted for Bush coming out but how about free housing for college students then? Lets face it, their taxes in the end will pay for HUD housing anyway.

Good luck trying to get the section 8 housing people out in a year if the house is not torn up and graffiti all over the damn thing..

Well I hope for the best for everybody. I know a lot of my relatives from NO are in the DFW area. They are considering the whole moving here for good idea, but we'll see.
