I am trying to track down some information for a couple of old photos of my late father. I have several old pictures of him driving an early 60's Porsche and I am not sure what track(s) it is. I feel like it might be VIR because he grew up in Roanoke, VA. These were taken in the early 1960's. If they look familiar to you I would be interested to know. His name was Bob Neuhoff and the car was co-owned by Ed Frankoferrera?

My father passed away before I took interest in HPDE's and I didn't have the chance to ask him about his involvement in driving. Anyway, I know its a long shot but I thought I'd take a chance. Thanks for everyone's help.

You might try the good folks a the SCCA. Looks like he was running D Production. Someone should remember.

.....you could send them to Dave Friedman and/or Tom Burnside.

.do a google search. They are both very well known and accomplished photogs from those days of sports car racing in the US......

great shots, truly classic look. I'm sure your dad is still clipping apexes..... :buttrock

Next time you are at VIR, ask Lee, the older longhaired corner worker (tall and skinny). That guy has been there forever. He knows everyone. I'm sure he will be there at O'fest.
