View Full Version : Is anybody hiring? (I am looking for work.)
Hey everyone,
For those of you who haven't met me, my name is Matt and I'm a GT student from Annapolis, MD originally.
I'm looking for a part time job for at least the rest of this school year. I have experience as a cashier and salesperson in a retail environment, and I have also worked in shipping and receiving and as a computer tech. I have references, of course, and 4 years or so of work experience.
I can work Wednesday and Friday through Sunday. If anyone has any leads or needs help, shoot me a PM. I am flexible on the location, I can move pretty quickly through traffic. (See my sig. :cool ) I know I'm not listing what sort of job I'm looking for, because I'm pretty flexible. I'd like to find something with a flexible schedule and interesting work. :dunno

adeelpowers 09-05-2005, 02:54 AM how about being a straight room-mate?
dos Santos 09-05-2005, 09:45 AM Would you be interested in spot at an Audi dealership? I may be able to give you something easy.

Kyle K. 09-05-2005, 11:10 AM Always worth throwing in an application at Starbucks. Can't have a more convenient location since you're a MGT major and they're pretty flexible with the hours. I might even get to train you.

I can hook you up with a job at J.Crew....you'll probably get close to $10.00/hr plus commission...not bad for retail
where did you get that bike?
Thanks everyone, I'll be getting back to you. :cool
I got the bike in Chattanooga. :dunno
Matt
dos Santos 09-05-2005, 07:58 PM Matt, you can't wear khakis and hiking boots while riding a speedbike. :stickoutt
Get some pumas and jeans, and you'll be stylin'!
They were cords. :dunno
Actually, I'll probably blow a fat wad of cash on a leather suit soon... I have an itch only a track can scratch. :buttrock

OMG, the fever has you in its grip something fierce, doesn't it? :rofl
Oh Lawd, what have I done, taking you to fling ourselves through the mountains? :help
And seeing those two guys whipping around that curve on their uber-bikes on the way back probably didn't help either! :biglaughb
;)
I need a job, or the bike and the leathers and the track time all go the way of the buffalo... :(
I think I'll look hot:

You mean they'll engrave your image on the back of a nickel? :ponder

Oh man... :help :rofl
Spend some time walking before you run, dude. It's way healthier that way. :nono ;)
:D
count_schemula 09-06-2005, 08:15 AM Jump in the water, learn to swim. Or, at the very least, learn to fall. Hint - you want to slide, you don't want to tumble.
"Walking" is fun, but if I'm "running" there are no idiots in SUVs chasing me around Jennings or Road Atlanta.
It all hinges on the job though... I do intend to register the bike and get insurance ASAP, but I need a little income to support my new habit. The bike is parked until I work that all out.
